Transform a tp roll into an adorable penguin, while developing your child's fine motor skills. A creative, eco-friendly and fun activity!

Aren't those recycled penguins cute?

Materials :

  • tp roll

  • Pencil

  • orange card

  • Scissors

  • Paints (black, orange and what you want for the hats)

  • Brushes

  • Posca markers (black and white)

  • Hole punch

  • Glue gun (or vinyl glue)

  • White wool

  • Wool needle

Setp-by-step :

  1. Flatten the tp roll slightly and draw the silhouette of a penguin with a hat. Cut out all the bases without removing them, so that he can stand up.

  1. Cut out a circle on the belly, a beak and wings from cardboard scraps.

  1. Paint all the different items

  1. Punch holes all around the belly circle.

5. Draw the eyes with the posca markers (or use googly plastic eyes)

  1. Cut out feet from orange paper. Glue the feet inside the tp roll, the wings on the sides and the beak under the eyes.

  1. Thread the wool through the needle and through each hole to sew the belly.

Bonus: For even more fun, glue the top of the tp roll to turn your penguin into a puppet!
