The hairy world

This unique planet on which life is possible. This Earth Day, I'm proposing a fun activity: a planet with green hair.

Behind this activity lies an important message: take care of the planet and the diversity of species it harbours.

The added bonus is the use of watercress seeds, which grow quickly and can be eaten.

Materials:

- plastic globe

- blue, green, white and black posca markers

- blue paint

- varnish

- brushes

- potting soil

- seeds (in this case watercress)

Setp-by-step:

1. Draw the contours of the continents with a thin marker.

2. Paint the continents green (or white depending on the ice cover) and the oceans blue.

3. Varnish to protect the paintwork.

4. Fill the container with potting soil and add watercress seeds.

5. Place in a sunny room and spray daily.
