A new painting experience using glue, salt and water-based paint.
The salt will absorbe and diffuse the paint through the salt grains. It makes this activity very fun for the child and even a little magical.
It is also possible to talk with the child to explain the underlying process of this reaction using simple words: "Salt is a compound capable of absorbing moisture... thus it is able to absorbe water".

In any case, Minus (4.5 years old) as well as Minusculette (18 months old) enjoyed painting this way.
They had to be very careful because the brush has to touch the salt line but not the paper (at 18 months it's very complicated, and she did well and the most important is that she had fun).
